And as a matter of fact, that's why the program bears the reference to the pinnacle of martial arts achievement - Black Belt.  It reflects our continuing pursuit to deliver the best IT training solutions.

Mentoring for Success

Our program utilizes the martial arts' belt system of seniority to represent our students' mastery of the IS/IT craft. But the program is more that just an unique way of ranking our students. We incorporate the martial arts' philosophy of mentoring and respect and instill in our students a habit of continued education and learning to better expand their knowledge of this diverse field. 

Real World - Pass/Not Pass

Students are ranked by their knowledge, experience and leadership. No grades are given. There is no curve. Only a pass/not pass will be given by fellow senior students and instructors.  

Just like in the real world - you either know how to setup a network or you don't.

Students move on to train in the next knowledge/skill set (belt) only after mastering the previous levels.  

We cannot expect a student to setup networks without knowing how to install a motherboard.

Black Belt IT Training Program Details

Hardware

We first work to build a solid foundation of hardware knowledge for all our students. Everything related to PC hardware will be discussed, diagnosed, and experimented. This gears our students toward the nationally recognized A+/Network+ Certifications.

Software

Popular office packages such as MS Office, Corel's Word Perfect suite are currently in our curriculum. Web site publishing, database design, and basic programming are also introduced at this level. Each student will be encouraged to concentrate on one application or programming language and work towards an industry certification.

Network

Analyze how PCs can work together and interact with each other to enhance productivity in the office. Upon graduating, students will be proficient at installing, configuring and troubleshooting both Novell and Microsoft networks. Students will be CNE or MCSE or both certified.

Security

Work with the latest in security devices, network tools and firewall software. Learn how to protect the privacy of individuals and businesses. We will teach you the fundamentals of implementing security solution on all levels - software, network and physical access.
